The good:2000 Tahoe LS, 150K miles, leather, 3rd row seat, all the normal options... Inside is in pretty good shape, no tears or rips or anything. The bad:-Had a trailer come unhooked that was carrying a skid steer, trailer slammed into back of the rear hatch and put a nice hole in it. Body shop said it'd take more time welding it and getting it back right then it'd be worth and I'd be better off replacing. I've found them on eBay for $300-400. -Had a guy back into me, front right fender needs replacing along with the turn signal. It was an odd situation (the accident) but basically the cops said I was lying (dude backed out of his driveway into oncoming traffic but he told the cop he was just pulling into his driveway and I hit him) Anyways, long story short I've got a new car and need this thing sold with a quickness. Also, front windshield is cracked.Any ideas where to start as far as coming up with a price? KBB says Excellent $9,665 Good $8,865 Fair $7,800Should I get quotes for fixing everything and just take that amount off of the "fair condition" value then a little more? I figure somebody that owns a bodyshop or something could make these repairs very easily and make some money on it. Or, if any of you fuckers wanna low-ball me, go ahead.. I'll probably take it.[Edited on August 31, 2007 at 12:49 PM. Reason : also, I have a replacement rear bumper and all the mounts]

I need a new dog hauler. $2000.
8/31/2007 12:59:58 PM
Gonna take some after I get off work today. Pics from when I bought it are in my gallery..not that they help much. All maintenance was done on time as far as oil and filter changes. Other than that nothing has needed attention. The previous owner claimed he had put a new motor in it around 15K miles before I bought it..with the oil pressure it has (50ish at warm idle) I would believe it, but have no paperwork to back it up though so I'm not trying to use that as a selling point. I forgot to mention in original post that the AC system keeps breaking belts. It has a new compressor but I'm pretty sure a line is clogged that goes to the rear AC system (because the rear hasn't worked at all since I put the new compressor on) and the pressure is getting too high or something. I didn't have time to mess with it and just bought another car because I drive constantly and the whole no AC thing wasn't working.Anyways, I'll put pics on here in a few hours and probably make a craigslist ad as well[Edited on August 31, 2007 at 1:04 PM. Reason : $2K is getting reasonably close to what I want/need out of it..keep offers coming ]

$2200, one green M&M, and a beat up Saab that somehow still runs.
8/31/2007 1:12:23 PM
gonna try my luck on craigslist..
8/31/2007 1:30:08 PM
I might be interested. How big is the hole in the tailgate (pics)? Did it mess up anything else like rear window functionality?
8/31/2007 2:05:51 PM
I'll post pics in about an hour. The hole itself is about the size of a trailer hitch but it tweaked some of the metal a few inches beyond that. Rear hatch/window/lock functionality is unaffected. If one waited long enough to find one the right color on ebay they'd have a hell of a deal since it'd be a bolt on fix.. I just don't have the time. Will post pics soon, leaving work early to go take them[Edited on August 31, 2007 at 2:14 PM. Reason : s]

added pics to my gallery under 00 tahoe.. the drivers seat is the worst of any of them and is still in good shape.. the passenger seat is barely used and back seats were pretty much never used. it obviously has not been cleaned up and probably won't be before i sell it... let me know any offers.Thanks.edit: also, I was wrong about the mileage. It is 180K not 150k, sorry for that[Edited on August 31, 2007 at 5:11 PM. Reason : edit]
