are you in the process of making a thread about every single class you are taking?

sylvia will tell you herself.... you need to get old tests and study the format of them...she is tricky.

like someone mentioned in the other thread, def. goto her office hours after any of the tests, she is a real nice lady outside of class. she may seem like a witch, but she really isnt. stop by and get her to go back over your test. you will be happy you did

why doesnt she just hand out old tests then if she recommends her students to them to become familiar with the format? eh.. Im wondering what I should study next. Ive already studied the amino acids and structures... Should I start on the definitions in the back of Knopp's Knotes? (I know I must sound ridiculous but this is my 2nd time around for BCH... I auditied Knopp's class over the summer...Im looking to do as well as possible this time around) *hope*What would you say is the most useful material to study (or memorize) from? the textbook? class notes? or Knopp's Knotes? In other words, where does she like to pull her test questions from?

regardless if you have old test, when she tells you do memorize a certain bunch of structures, make sure you know them with your eyes closed, and make sure you put in alllllll hydrogens. thats the most important. a lot of her tests will have a similar format to her old ones, but she randomly puts the structures in which you need to know

don't forget to go to her after the test exam too. if you have a question you want to dispute, she might just give you extra points everywhere.
