sr20det swap!!!111yeah, just drive it. if you want a go fast toy/project, you'd be better served to buy something else of a more suitable platform.[Edited on August 26, 2007 at 7:08 PM. Reason : .]

put a turbo in the passenger seat

You could upgrade the shocks, get some wide wheels with sticky tires.

infinity is one of the last brands i'd buy to modify get a K&N drop in filter and call it a day with your 1hp gain. You could put a set of michelins on it and grip the curves... in which case come see me
8/26/2007 8:59:39 PM
^yeah, i wouldn't modify speakers either.[Edited on August 26, 2007 at 9:29 PM. Reason : it's INFINITI people...]

Why not modify an infinity? A lot of the parts are interchangable between infinities and nissans and nissans are one of the popular cars to 'modify'. Hell its a RWD car with a VG30 just like the Z32 which is technically a "sports car". I would swap in a 5 speed beef up the suspension and get some sticky tires. The I30 was actually called the Nissan Maxima in Japan. If you really want some power you could perhaps swap in a VG30DETT or save up for a bit and throw in an LS1.There isn't much aftermarket support for it so its going to take a lot of fabbing yourself but nissans are easy to work on.

last time I checked the Infinity G35 was pretty sporty (there is a car coming out next year loosely based on it that will compete with the Z06), the infinity j30 was also somewhat sporty coming with a VLSD and having some power. However if you want something to "soup up" i suggest getting a S13 beater or miata for a grand or so and toying around with it.[Edited on August 26, 2007 at 9:47 PM. i30 is not even comparable to the g35. it's also not rwd. if you can't even spell the car's name right, you don't need to be giving out information about it.[Edited on August 26, 2007 at 10:41 PM. Reason : .]
