for dinner?

Frazier's has a 4 course tasting menu with wine that looks amazing I realllly want to try, but it's pretty pricey ($50 a head)

I've heard great things about Shaba Shabu... how much does dinner for two with drinks normally run?

Is it a date?

I would prefer Fraziers.

Shaba Shabu hands down...same price range as Kanki with much better sushi.

SS has a DJ on the weekend nights so it's much more lively. Anytime I've been during the week it's been quiet and good for dates.

I took my roommates out to Vivace on my birthday. It's near that South Hill Target, and although it wasn't busy in the afternoon, the food was good (Italian). They also had a bunch of expensive wines.

Now, it's another thing that the waitress didn't understand that I had ordered the $120 wine, and got me the $25 one.

Stay away from Shaba Shabu. The service sucks and the food is mediocre. You'd be better off at Arby's.

Frazier's FTW.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

They said the same thing, but I prefer doing it my way.

Yeah, its very good. But I think you meant its in the Lassiter (across Lassiter Mill Road from North Hills). Its my new favorite restaurant w/ contemporary decor.

Also, Frazier's is awesome. I've always been very happy with food there. But then again, it was free for me every time, so that made it 10x better.

Shaba Shabu isn't anything special. Go to Frazier's.

You can go to Thai Villa for half the price as Shaba Shabu, and the food is just as good.
