that hillclimb is killer, pics dont do justice, ive seen two people bomb up it last winter with it wet as hell and patchy with snow, its pretty fun to watch

it was pretty wild. it was a chase, i have no idea what the guy had done.

- 6-7 cops pass us as we're leaving mountain city on 421 south torwards boone.

- last cop comes by, turns right in front of us and blocks the road. another cop comes up and joins him

- we figure it's a bad wreck or something at first, then the cops blocking the road get their shotguns out. a few seconds later, this dude in a cadillac comes around the corner with at least 8 cops chasing him.

- one of the cops blocking the road shoots the guy's tire out with the shotgun.

- the guy stops, the cops get him out of the car, on the ground, etc. and it was over.

it was one of the craziest/coolest things i've ever seen on the road. it all happened right in front of us. like a scene straight out of cops.

yeah, those pics are on 421 maybe 3 miles east of mountain city and about 15 miles west of boone. there's a bike place in mountain city, is that his?

No technically his address is West Jefferson, but it is just down the rd form where you took those pics, i recognize the cement plant or whatever that is. Last time I was up there we got there at night and the fog was so thick that we missed the turnoff and had to pull into that plant to figure out where we were.

^^you might be thinking of another spot. west jefferson is probably at least 20 miles from that spot, maybe more. the nc/tn line is about 10 miles.
