So resident director needs me to get rid of her T_T So yeah, I don't know, guess she's back up for sale if anyones still interested in herHer name is Muffin btw, but its not like she comes when you call her, so you can rename her if you wish
10/26/2007 2:05:34 AM
*bumps sadly* Noone want me Muffmuff? ._.
10/27/2007 3:12:28 PM
Well is it a matter of price that you've turned down offers or just not enough interest?
10/27/2007 3:39:06 PM
It was pretty stupid of you to get a rabbit for a dorm room, now wasn't it?
10/27/2007 3:51:03 PM
your rabbit has a beard
10/27/2007 3:52:53 PM
Actually it was because I liked her too much, and wanted to hold on as long as possible, not price or interest (also wasn't sure if a friend could take until I got an apartment, but guess not now)and yeah she does have a beard, she's a strange one she is
10/27/2007 5:38:49 PM
So Muffy has decided that I'm not worthy of her fun beard... hopefully she'll grow it back (and looks like she has a few tufts that are), but until then, she looks like this now...But regardless, I needa get rid of her asap =/ [Edited on October 30, 2007 at 7:57 PM. Reason : img tag]

rabbits shit all over floors and smell like asshole.
10/30/2007 8:15:06 PM
people claim they can train them.........but i've never seen one that didnt shit on the floor
10/30/2007 9:52:21 PM
Really? I've had trained ones beforeI didn't train Muffin, but I haven't seen her crap on the floor once, and I've had her out for many an hour at a time before, so really just the particular rabbit you get. I've had rabbits before that really did go all over the place, but Muffin really definitely likes one corner of her cage, thats for sure...supposedly you let them go out and choose a spot, and put litterbox and whatnot where they choose it, but I havent left Muffin out THAT long, and when I do, she doesn't seem to go anyways (I wonder if I put cage on floor she'd go in... but alas, she wont be mine soon, so someone else can try that out)

I offered to give her an excellent home when you first posted this thread.I teach Animal Science and my students give our class animals tons of attention and they receive the best care. However, I rescued a rabbit that someone abandoned at the end of August and no longer have room for another rabbit. Good Luck finding her a home. The Wake County SPCA will take her in. She'll be spayed and then put up for adoption. The adoption process should guarantee that she'll be adopted by a committed family or individual.

Yes I know, just things came up, I would've written back asking if you had room, but presumed (correctly) you didn't, thanks for the offer though ^^and thats a good idea, thanks

You can pee train rabbits and chinchillas to go in a litter box, but you cannot train them to poop in one specific spot, some just prefer to go only in there cage and some let if fly whenever.
11/1/2007 11:02:47 AM
our 2 rabbits are trained to go in a corner of their cage and poop onto a paper plate thats in the bottom tray. (we have the wire bottom cages with trays that slide out). makes cleanup easyif only I could train the chinchillas...
