A friend of mine had a 20 ga Franchi semi automatic at one time. I believe it was recoil operated and was extremely light and nimble- a fine shotgun.

Sounds like this gun, light and semi-automatic. My grandpa got it when his muscular dystrophy made it too hard to hold a heavier gun.

That looks about right. Like I said before ,my friend's was a fine shotgun.

i havent shot it yet, i havent even seen the gun since i was like 10. it looks like this is the nicer model from the line but without even knowing how old it is its hard to find out more information. its got a couple scuffs on the stock but nothing major. it feels really good, cant wait to clean it and get it out somewhere.

You can go shoot it @ Personal Defense in Raleigh.

hang on to it when you shoot it , those light guns will whap you. that was/is probbably the lightest bird gun made, it competed with the ithaca 37 ultra featherlight with the english stock for the title " lightest old man bird gun" . less than 5.5 lbs i think. an excellent gun by all accounts
