Has anyone else heard about the government lowering the drinking age to 18? My boyfriend was telling me about this and I also heard it on the radio. As soon as I find a link, I'll post it. What are your thoughts on this?

i understand that but then you'd still have 14 and 15 years old drinking underagei agree with the "if you can die for your country you should be able to drink" angle...but i say the legal age should be 21...UNLESS YOU'RE ACTUALLY IN THE MILITARY in which case 18 would be fine...but just cause you're old enough to die for this country doesn't mean you are actually fighting in a war...now if there was a draft implemented then hell yeah lower it to 18

Will the feds still cut your highway funding if it isn't 21?nvmhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Dakota_v._Dole

i think i just completely decreased the validity of the "if you're old enough to die for your country" argument
