normally you got 2 discs, this actually helps with upsprung weight and a bunch of other shit.

Okay,The way i have heard it, the rotor on the outside helps with a number of things,The first is that it provides the same brakign powre as the two normal rotors, secondly, It severly lessons the stress on the spokes because its mounted on the rim, therefore you can use much thinner spokes, further lessing the weight of the wheel. The setup itself weights less than a conventinal brake setup.Im sure there are other advantages, but i think those are the two main ones.

Anyway,I kinda liek the fact atht they are going away from the harly engines, Rotax makes alot of the engines for some of the italina makes (i know aprillia for one). I think they are rating it at 140 hp but the torque looks crazy. Still unsure of how it will do compared to the literbikes but its definalty somethign different.
