Couldn't get my damn transmission swap complete before GSSE. I'm itching for tellico now. Anybody game sometime this summer/fall?

never been but considering my rig isn't extremely modified I fully expect tons of breakage (especially with the 35). Hence why i'm trailering a rig on 33's

you could find a dana 44a and swap it in before tellico. what all is done to your jeep? (i'm guessing it's a zj, correct?)

I'd love to go and would volunteer as a tow rig, if somebody let me ride along once while I think about taking my truck down some trails. But I really don't think my truck would like it much.

If I could find one that would be an easy swap (IE from a 5.2 ZJ) i'd do it. Otherwise I don't have much time to play with brackets and what not.

I don't have a ton done - 4.6l stroker, aw4 swap, locker in the 35, 3.5"(ish) lift - XJ 4.5" springs in the front and my old fronts in the rear, and 33" MT's (with tons of fender trimmage). Gonna wheel this setup for another year or so then i'm doing LA's and a 9"/hp44 but I want to get as much driver skill as possible before going bigger. I've seen some guys with nasty built rigs that can't drive for sh*t and that pisses me off to no end.

actually no, i'm not going to swap. now that I think about it the 44a is barely an improvement. I have 2 spare shafts now, i'm stopping by carolina rock shop monday to grab a few more
