#2 isnt considered top 5?
8/9/2007 1:08:01 PM
Some of those will undoubtedly rise and fall as the season goes onLast year kids were selling student tickets to Ohio State-Michigan for 3-4000 per.[Edited on August 9, 2007 at 1:10 PM. Reason : x]
8/9/2007 1:09:44 PM
^^ yeah, read to quickly.
8/9/2007 1:11:49 PM
I saw Notre Dame play at Air Force last year for $40.00 each. There were about 20 people selling seats for less than $100 per. Most I ever paid for a ticket was $60.00 for Phil's last game in 03.
8/9/2007 1:18:03 PM
^^^Ohio State v. Michigan was also #1 vs. #2 last yearit wont be that way this year[Edited on August 9, 2007 at 1:19 PM. Reason : asdf]
8/9/2007 1:18:51 PM
most i ever paid was Tenn/Florida in 99 I think, it was $115weirdest one ever was Tenn/UGA 2 years ago, even after kickoff you couldnt get ANYTHING under $125
8/9/2007 1:20:54 PM
I can't see people paying $195.00 for Cal/Tenn tickets unless they are solely Tenn. fans. Cal won't even be in school until the end of September.
8/9/2007 1:24:12 PM
how much do the BCS Championship tickets go for? $10,000 a piece or something?also I've heard for the last 6 months how a shit ton of Gamecocks fans have bought UNC season tickets simply to be able to go to the UNC USC game...anything that has to do with opposing fans buying UNC season tickets is fine with me!]
8/9/2007 1:24:58 PM
^ I got a ticket to the first one (1998) for something stupid, like $70... but then again, there was a blizzard in the midwest and a lot of Florida State fans decided not to make the trip. I saw a guy trade a ticket for a sandwich
8/9/2007 1:37:30 PM
^hypothetically look at Texas v USC though...what would something like that run?
8/9/2007 1:39:09 PM
not so much the texas side, but USC just because the sellers would know they would have a lot of rich "fans" willing to pay whatever. Not so much people that actually follow the program but just rich ass hollywood types that have jumped on the bandwagon... just a normal BCS game between teams with more traditional, hardcore fans, say Penn State vs. Georgia, would be $80+ probably
8/9/2007 1:41:43 PM
I had tickets to the Penn State/FSU Orange Bowl a few years back, pretty good seats, lower level at about the 35. Paid 400 for 3 tickets.
8/9/2007 1:50:49 PM
well yeah, if you are wanting to sit there... I just meant get in the door
8/9/2007 1:58:44 PM
^^ I'd imagine a BCS non-championship bowl face value would be 100 for 35 yard line, so you didn't end up too bad, do you remember face?[Edited on August 9, 2007 at 2:30 PM. Reason : .]

anyone post that shit about UNC turning their stadium into a dome?if not, I will
8/9/2007 2:42:01 PM
How much is the Louisville vs. NCSU game...if your NOT in the Wolfpack club and you're just a regular alumni...just curious? B/C Im guessing that game is going to be rather pricy..or am I wrong?
8/9/2007 4:32:35 PM
You are wrong.
8/9/2007 4:45:09 PM
The Louisville game is Parents Weekend and I think I heard the tix were $48 a pop, but that is just something I was told. Haven't seen it in writing anywhere.
8/9/2007 4:56:24 PM
who the hell is paying that much for notre dame/bc?seriously... a rebuilding team vs. a new coach?
8/9/2007 8:58:40 PM
its Catholic vs. Catholic. if that doesnt get you hyped, im afraid nothing will. its kinda like a Pope vs. Pope UFC
8/10/2007 2:13:27 PM
8/10/2007 7:20:29 PM
If it's just a religious thing I'd rather see ND play BYU or Duke or SMU... although only one of those could be anywhere near a decent game...(in all fairness, they ARE playing Duke this year, but that is not the decent game i was referring to)
8/10/2007 10:16:34 PM
Coworker claims a guy he is trying to buy 2 NCSU season tix from in section 22 row 8 is getting offers of 1500. Sounds like a lie to me, what does tdub think?
8/11/2007 11:38:15 AM
for both tickets for the whole year? A measly $125/game/ticket
8/11/2007 2:20:04 PM
Yea, both tickets for the whole season.
