Just bought a new motorcycle, will be taking it back to NCSU with me this semester!

Anyway, what's parking like on campus? I've never tried parking a car there either so I don't know much. I understand a motorcycle sticker is $50. Can I also park on Centennial Campus with this sticker?

There's an abundance of motorcycle parking in the decks next to EB1 (i.e. anywhere a car cannot park = motorcycle parking)

This map shows all the other locations
http://www2.acs.ncsu.edu/trans/maps/download/motorcycle%2011x17-6-05.pdf

Also, if you have a friend with a parking permit, adding a bike to a parking permit = $5. Think about it.

MC parking is good anywhere on NCSU as long as you can find MC designated spots. Which isn't hard cause they are all over the place. The MC parking sticker is like $50 or $55 if you don't have a car sticker. If you have a car sticker, its $5.

the only problems i have had were the main campus spot behind Fox, it gets crowded but their are always other places, that are smaller and have maybe a little longer walk. I have never had a problem on Centennial, unless they are doing road work by the parking deck in which the other spots are still close.

main campus gets pretty full between say 10am and 2pm... my times may be a little off, but there's a span where most motorcycle parking is overflowing

Yeah, but there are so many around that you can just park at the next available lot. Don't complain so much because you have to walk more than 10 steps to get to your building. Your going in places that most folks in cages can't get into.

I'm not complaining, just stating that there are peak times where it gets full... so knowing another lot nearby is helpful. That happened a lot when I was driving to my morning physics class... If I got there too early I'd get blocked in & couldn't get out w/o taking the bike over the curb (which the rebel wasn't fond of), but too late & there wasn't any space. Really close main campus spaces are the ones to which I am referring.

As for parking on curbs, if you make a habit of it they'll gladly give you one of those dandy $50 tickets. Block a walkway or emergency exit/fire area... sure to bump that up.
