^ yeah.that's almost exactly my computer that i built ~3 years ago, and it was a budget system then (i think it was about $600).

The memory is $190 new, but thats largely due to this:http://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=489266I would like to think the rest is worth more than $60 bucks. This is the way I break it down to get $350:$65: Motherboard, CPU, Fan$120: Memory$35: Harddrive$35: DVDdrive$45: Case with front-usb, and power supply$50: Graphics cardAdditionally, it's all put together, and has a legal copy of windows XP that I will do a fresh install of. That may not be worth anything to some of you, but to others it might be. It also can run Vista pretty decently with those 2gigs of ram.I may go for a bit less depending on bids, but first to $350 gets it. I'm fluent with people that want to charge outrageous prices on tdub, but I also know my way around used computer prices and I don't think 350 is outrageous.I've kept great care of all said parts. I remove dust every few months with a tank of compressed air and I've never over clocked any component.[Edited on August 7, 2007 at 9:49 AM. Reason : ]

The "correct" way to do it is take whatever it would be new and divide by two.

^^^^ you broke it down incorrectly.Brand new machine with similar specs: $400-$450$300 isn't unreasonable, but $350 is pushing it.

Correction: that hard drive is a 80GB Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9. The case is an Ultra ATX case, and is well cooled, with a cool-air pipe from the case side right onto the processor fan. Also, I have kept a nice, organized binder full of manuals, receipts, warranties, and other documentation. The motherboard and memory have lifetime warranties, so with the receipts and warranty paperwork, that's worth a little something too.^^^Considering you could get brand new ones if anything happens, you really can't deduct from the new price on lifetime warranty stuff, though I did anyways.I'm still accepting offers, tdubbers.[Edited on August 10, 2007 at 9:42 AM. nice machine, don't take less than 350, as you are NOT being unreasonable.the gfx card is the weakest link, but not by much.
