What are some very-moderately easy courses to take? preferably (but not limited to) a science course. Im a senior and will have somewhat of a light schedule, and I need to boost my GPA ^^^

Like jessiejepp said, "IDS 201 with tavakoli"
8/21/2007 12:10:46 AM
hate to say it, but after 4 years of schooling, one or two "easy" classes is not going to boost your gpa at all.
8/21/2007 2:09:51 PM
anything in CHASS
8/21/2007 3:27:28 PM
what about any easy courses that are not closed right now..[Edited on August 21, 2007 at 4:20 PM. Reason : sss]
8/21/2007 4:16:50 PM
i think maybe you should spend some time to figure out how to calculate your gpa and realize you are fucked if you are at your senior year and just now worrying about this
8/21/2007 5:53:15 PM
i was bored so here is some simple number crunching for you, so you can put stuff into perspective. so say you are going to be a senior and should have AROUND 90 hours completed at worst case.Worse case: you got a D in all of those classes for 90 hours, that means 90 grade points and a 1.0 gpa. For the last 30 hours of your 120 (these numbers are averages), you get all A's. It will raise your gpa to a 1.75 (.75 boost).Same thing now except with a C in all of classes for the first 90..blah blah, all A's for senior year (30 hours), it go from a 2.0 to a 2.5........ with a B average, and then all A's, it raises it from a 3.0 to a 3.25. So all in all, you prob dont have a 1.0 gpa right now, and you prob wont get all A's for the rest of your credits, so your gpa aint going anywhere really.

BlroomDancer dont let these haters get you down. Here are some easy A classesBUS 225 w/ Sloan - Personal FinanceSOC 203 w/ Macomber - Current Social ProblemsSOC 311 w/ Terry - Community RelationsIDS 201 w/ Tavakoli or Wiggins - Environmental EthicsENT 203 w/ whoever teaches it - Bees and BeekeepingCSC 200 w/ Lasher - Intro to ComputersARE 306 w/ Campbell - Agricultural Business LawELP 334 w/ Hessling - School and SocietyENG 332 w/ Huyck or Barksdale - Communication for Business MajorsPEH 213 w/ Ousley - Human SexualitySTS 302 w/ Tavakoli - Science and Technology ValuesSOC 204 w/ Stone - Sociology of the Family

trying to boost a gpa is like trying to boost your grade with a final exam, unless you do very very very well, or very very very poorly on it, it isnt going to affect your grade all that much.
8/21/2007 7:52:06 PM
maybe she is borderlined and just needs a marginal boost...

SOC 241-Sociology of Agriculture and Rural SocietyI found it interesting, and it is by far the easiest class I took. There are some books to read, but I'm pretty sure anyone could get an A out of that class without reading them. The are no papers, and the tests are just common sense.

Bus 201Eng 208 with Bateman, you just have reading and four tests. The classes are actually kind of fun because the prof is so funny.
10/19/2007 10:44:40 AM
^^ BUS 201 was terrible. I think Deborah Brown was just in a bad mood all the time. And she was really opinionated and made sure that everyone knew it.
1/7/2008 3:01:52 PM
phi 214psy 200bio 181...but it prob wouldn't boost ur gpa as a senior
1/7/2008 3:50:00 PM
^^i took her and absolutely hated her...she is almost as bad as robin thomas...ended up with a good grade in bus 201 cause the tests were pretty much from the book

CSC 200 with Lasher
1/7/2008 5:02:46 PM
stone is actually back for one last semester. even though his class is closed, all you have to do is show up and ask him and he will add you.
