Terrible, terrible movie. I picked it up at blockbuster today thinking it was one of those inspirational sports movies. I'm a sucker for the Rudys, Brian's Song, 61 type movies. I should have been tipped off by Nick Nolte being the only notable star. It ended up being some zen, personal enlightenment bullshit. So many stupid self improvement cliches I fell asleep halfway through, and when I woke up 30 minutes later, I remembered why I fell asleep and turned it off. I cannot recommend against renting this movie enough.

How could I forget it's not cool to like popular movies here. It's only cool to like indie/art house flicks... errr films or those made by the late Kubrik (RIP)Thanks for reminding me what movies I should like.

I could clearly tell from the trailer that it was going to be "some zen, personal enlightenment bullshit"

Like I said, I just picked it up at blockbuster.. I didn't know anything about it beforehand. The cover even made mention of Rocky, a movie I *gasp* liked as well.
