I did a few searches on this and could find nothing. Is anyone concerned (about as concerned as one could be about entertainment) about the younger hollywood stars? I'm talking about the 20 and 30 somthings. Its like all of the good actors and actresses that I enjoy watching are getting older, and will soon not be able to do the rolls they used to. To list some:Tom HanksBruce WillisNick CageHarrison FordKurt RussellKevin SpaceyTom CruiseJohn Travolta...etcSome older actors will probably stop doing movies, such as Jack Nicholson(Sp?), Morgan Freeman, Dustin Hoffman, John VoightI'm not saying Hollywood is totally void of talent these days, there are a few actors/actresses out there I like, such as Christian Bale, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, but even those guys are getting older.Any thoughts? I'm probably gonna get flamed as having a narrow point of view though.

yea, I thought about Adam Sandler, and in my opinion he's funny, but just not that great of an actor. I do like Edward Norton though. And my list by all means isnt definitive

You have a very loose definition of "good actors"Travolta? Cage? Cruise? Are you joking?Russell isn't a great actor, but he does his genre well. I think you are just romanticizing actors that you are familiar/grew up with.

^ probably so, but it doesnt change the fact that hollywood is getting older and no one is there to take its place

^^i dont think that is a loose definition.if he would have said great actors or the best actors the yes. but good actors is exactly what everyone on that list is. but, i concur, There really isn't anyone up and coming that seems like they could have the string of good movies as Cruise, Willis, etc etc. You are right about Christian Bale, I really like him and Edward Norton has always been good
