I may be mistaken, but I think you can but your DDR2 ram will only run as fast as the DDR ram.

doesn't matter. just find the price for a reputable brand - crucial, kingston, ocz, geil.
use the memory finder at crucial.com to make sure you get the right kind.

oh right, i was thinking of mixing ram speeds, not types. so yes, as predicted, i am mistaken
