got a Sharp LCD TV. so need something that will make the picture look good.

whats with all these DVD recorders?? are they worth it?

you need to list more specs about your tv - at the very least a model # so someone can do the legwork for you

typically you shouldn't buy a standalone dvd recorder if you have a pc and know how to use it..

its the Sharp Aqious or however you spell it 37" LCD HDTV with 1080i stuff here and there blah blah.

yeah i kinda figured it out as i was reading some sites on the net. i have an older laptop, like 4 years old or so, with no DVD recorder. dont really need one..

i guess what i want is a dvd copier so i can, you know, back up my nintendo Wii games incase my dogs decide to chew them up or something.

so on my computer i have a DVD multi player drive and a DVD multi recorder.

could i use these for copying games?? which software should i use? ive got nero 7 already on here.

you cant play backup wii games without a modchip, which requires poppin upen your wii and soldering it in
