My friend has a 98 Exploder 2dr sport. Im not sure if its a V6 or V8. But anyway his AC stopped blowing cold air. So he got it recharged, two days later it stopped again. So this time I did the recharge and checked for leaks. No leaks, and it has a full charge.

With the AC on, the compressor clicks, spins a little, then clicks and stops spinning. I hooked up my gauge to the AC system and it reads full charge and slowly goes to over charge, then click compressor stops spinning, needle drops down to half way charge. It does this over and over.

Is his compressor blown?? Maybe the compressor's clutch is fucked up? Some pressure sensor is fucked up??

im thinking that or, his high or low pressure switches are fucked up.

I could always unplugged them, short them with a paper and clip and watch to see what happens from a far distance

also could be way overcharged, but i would bet on it being plugged
