I am trying to create a spread sheet that has a column that is stricly dates that include the dates from now until 2 years from now. I want there to be 6 spaces or rows between each date, and i dont want to do it manually.....anyone know how i can do that?does it make sense?

[start date]blank cellblank cellblank cellblank cellblank cellblank cell[next date]blank cellblank cellblank cellblank cellblank cellblank cell1. highlight the above.2. grab the handle in the lower right hand corner and extend.3. profit

That worked for me in 2007. I didn't know you could do that. That's a hell of a lot easier then the way I would have done it.

for 2007, it worked if typing date literals in A1 and A8, but not when A1 and A8 are references to other cells

Ah. yeah, I just typed in two dates.Seriously though, I'm ashamed to admit how I would have solved this otherwise. ]
