I'll be coming to SFO at the end of the month and want to catch a Giants game. Any of you live there or want to go?

i'm living in foster city for 6 months, which is about 20 miles south of SF.

and you shoudl hope barry breaks the record prior to your visit, or catching a ticket to a giants game may set you back a few hundred.

My girlfriend and I are flying out there on the 27th and staying until the 5th. My parents live in Sausalito.

I'm going with a co-worker and got outfield tickets for face value. sweet!

Now I'm headed to Oakland to catch the A's. Tickets there aren't a problem - but I'm wondering how long it will take me to get there from Union Square. I think I'll rent a car.

My brother lives in San Jose. Him and my dad are going to the Braves-Giants game tonight.

I live somewhat near SF. Like a 20 minute BART ride away.

You can get tix to Giants games still fairly easily. I got tix to the Mets game earlier this year and also a few others here and there day of game... Beautiful ballpark and plenty of shit around it to do and places to drink.. Probably my 2nd favorite stadium behind Camden (well newish stadium... i love shea and fenway too).

Why? You will pay out the ass for parking. Everywhere you need to go in the city and in the East Bay you can get to by BART... Only get a car if you want to take day trips to Napa/Sonoma or Monterey or something...

And as I'm typing this I'm guessing you're already there and back. I was at the first Braves-giants game whatever day that was... in a Jose Reyes orange t-shirt!
