we have a 68 280sl, 73 is a different body style, not very pretty if I remember correctly. For ours parts are extremely expensive, but available. the 113 chassis cars (up to 71 or 72) have had strong market value since new, I don't know about the later 70's version.

just checked it out, it is a 350 SL with 450 SL badging...doesnt make any sense to meill have to do some more research on it...i dont know if it is worth it

I don't even have to look at it to tell you it's a worn out german piece of shit that you don't want. As an alternate suggestion, I've got a hole in my backyard that you're welcome to throw money into.

I know enough to stay the hell away from it.The only old German car I want to have anything to do with is Volkswagen. Ok, maybe a BMW 2002, but that is it.

well the auction was hilariouscompletely rusted through trunk and an electrical system that was completely shot because the battery shorted out through the hood...i couldnt check the trunk because it was locked the first timeunknown milage because the odometer had been replaced in germanysome idiots bought it for $6500
