burn in really isn't an issue anymore. it was in the first gen though.a lot of the newer game systems have an option for a screen saver, so i'd check your manuals for one.

LG also has a better burn in prevention system than some other brands...but over all burn in isn't nearly as bad as it used to be.

i bought the 50" LG plasma almost 2 months ago and i've been extremely pleased. i haven't had any problems with burn-in...however, i don't play any video games on it.but yeah, looks like a great set at a great price. go for it.
