i pulled this girl from the harnett animal control this afternoon (with the intentions of only going there to pull a dog to foster). she was the last one left, and the shelter was closed for the day, and they said she was getting put to sleep in the morning. not sure of her age, i'm guessing around 12weeks old. not sure what she's mixed with, maybe a boxer. she has a cute underbite. attached a few pictures of her. asking a $20 adoption fee (to get back what i paid for her to pull her from the shelter)and however much it will cost for me to get her rabies shot (i need to fax over her rabies shot record within the next 72hours). email me if interested in giving this sweet, playful girl a loving permanent home. she seems to not mind other dogs/cats.

^^my apartment isnt that bad (just my bedroom closet and my dining room table), but i have a huge walk-in closet, and im too lazy to put all my clothes on hangers, so they're in a big heap. and if she hadnt just gotten a bath 20min prior to those pics, i'd be opposed to her being in there...but she took it upon herself to relax while i was looking for something to wear.

^no, havent gotten him back yet. though 2 sightings within 30min on the corner of tryon and avent ferry this morning. so we'll see. im putting some traps out this evening.

beautiful dog!! If the apartment that I was moving into would allow pets I would seriously look into taking her. Hope that you find her a place to live.

just a little tip for you girls that like to snoop around the shelters. if you are seen eyeballing a particular animal by a worker you will be approached. if you seem pretty interested but then back out then animal is ALWAYS "going to be put to sleep the next day"

^ no, at harnett animal control, they do put all their remaining animals to sleep every wed...and after seeing that the animal control is in the middle of like all these farms and stuff, i guess they dont get enough people to come out and adopt.
not sure...but either way, pulling another from that shelter on tuesday if this girl has been adopted out.

and i walked in the back room not seeming interested in any of them, there were 3 left and i asked which one had the highest chance of being put down in the morning and she said all of them. so i told her i'd foster the one, and someone else fostered the other two.

even if they are lieing...whatever. looks like they're doing a good job making people want to save these animals lives even more. so maybe they should continue saying that, even if it's not true
