7/10/2007 5:23:52 PM
working from home this week - my bed is a 0min. commute and the couch is a solid 20-30 seconds walk downstairs which I usually work from - however the office is a shorter 10-15 second walk if I choose to work from theretypically my commute is the closest hotel (marriott if posisble) to the client

7/10/2007 5:45:29 PM

7/10/2007 5:50:57 PM
5-10 minutes. living and working directly off of US1/US64 makes the morning commute really easy.
7/10/2007 5:51:57 PM
36 miles or so, about 40 minutes
7/10/2007 6:15:59 PM
~20 miles, averaging about 40-45 mins

7/10/2007 6:42:01 PM
50 minutes in the morning. An hour in the evening. It's 20 or so miles.
7/10/2007 7:00:50 PM
12 minutes in the morning (4:30a.m.)25 minutes in the p.m. (5-6p.m.)we'll see how this new 540 extension helps when i have a davis drive exit.
7/10/2007 7:04:28 PM
about 10 minutes...and no highways or major roads anymore
7/10/2007 7:06:11 PM
it's 0.97 miles and it takes me just about 2 and a half minutes to go it....longer if i have trouble turning left off of my street onto sunset ave.
7/10/2007 7:43:04 PM
i don't know really 30 minutes?
7/10/2007 7:44:44 PM
35 mins. if I leave at 6am, 1 hour during rush both ways (holly springs to RTP)I try to work from home as much as possible to avoid the headache
7/10/2007 8:08:30 PM
about 16 miles which translates to about 20-23 minutes depending on how many stoplights i hitin a few weeks it will be 7 miles down I-85 in the perimeter in atlantai really have no idea how long that will take
7/10/2007 8:18:54 PM
8 miles away -- which means 40 minutes through Princeton, NJ, traffic. I hate this state.
7/10/2007 8:30:40 PM
15 minutes. Some of my coworkers at my old job would commute almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to work. Why you would ever do that is beyond me.
7/10/2007 8:37:21 PM
about 27 miles, 24 on I-64little if any traffic either way
7/10/2007 8:38:15 PM
20-25 minit's perfect--not too close and not too far away
7/10/2007 8:55:03 PM
25miles each way... 35minutes on a good day... an hour on a bad day
7/10/2007 8:59:09 PM
35-45 minutes including a stop at Hardee's for a loaded omelet biscuit
7/10/2007 9:00:31 PM
10 min. By bike. And I just put fenders on my bike, and have a decent rain coat, so I have absolutely no excuse to drive, except for distances > 10 miles or highways.
7/10/2007 9:01:26 PM
anywhere from 1:20 to 2+hrs each way any day of the week.
7/10/2007 9:51:00 PM
^that can't possibly be worth the money. how can you stand that?
7/10/2007 9:59:12 PM
10 miles. 3/4 of a mile to the paved highway, then about 9 straight up hwy 87 to work.
7/10/2007 10:05:56 PM
30-35 depending on if it's a weekend/holiday or not... i leave the house no later than 6:45 for my full time, we have to be ready for work at 7:30. I leave the house no later than 6:10 for my part-time on the days that I go to it from home, we have to be there by 7:00. But most days I'm coming from my full time to the part-time and that's about a 5-10 minute drive.
7/10/2007 10:10:19 PM
fuquay to RTP 30 min or so as long as I leave before the rush (6:45ish)shit gets crowded on 55 near beaver creek shopping on the way home so I have to leave work by 4ish or after 6 or it takes forever.
7/10/2007 10:15:27 PM
^ You don't do Fuquay to RTP in 30 minutes in a four-wheeled vehicle.I leave at 6am each morning from Holly Springs taking 55 to Nortel and 35 mins. is the VERY BEST I have ever done. I guess working at Cisco would *maybe* make 30 minutes.
7/10/2007 10:23:18 PM
25 minute walk or about 10 minutes on my bike.
7/10/2007 10:25:17 PM
Cary down to around Fuquay usually. Depends on which house I go to first (superintendent). Approx 30 mins
7/10/2007 10:29:25 PM
read: 30 min or so....that could mean 30 minit could mean 28 minit could mean 33 minand yes i do it pretty much every dayi live right off the 55 bypass and commute to tw alexander.sucks to be you if you can't make that in 30 min doing 5-10 over the speed limit. it is only about 23 miles.
7/10/2007 10:31:18 PM
20 miles which takes 30-40mins...stupid I-40 to and from RTP
7/10/2007 10:31:27 PM
5 minutes from getting in my car to getting to my parking space, another 5-7 walking from my car to my building. Stupid NCSU parking.
7/10/2007 10:48:49 PM
about 10 miles and 15 mintues to my office, but i'm driving all around the area 50-100 miles most days.
7/10/2007 10:50:05 PM
about 5-10 minutes depending if i hit the green lights
7/10/2007 11:02:16 PM
I telecommute--seriously.
7/10/2007 11:06:25 PM
17 miles. In the AM it's b/t 60 and 90 minutes. In the PM it's about 35 minutes.
7/10/2007 11:14:53 PM
I think around 14 miles (Cary to RTP), takes about 25 minutes either way. Sometimes 5 minutes longer on the way home. I go out of my way a little to avoid sitting at intersections too long or having to take I-40.
7/10/2007 11:20:30 PM
None. Consulting work from home.
