mogwaiblack dice (thats kinda out there though, and maybe more electronic then you are looking for)

i like some electronica. as long as it's kinda downbeat, more along the lines of hip hop than trance/techno.but this thread isn't about that, bradley^I forgot about Mogwai, and I have 3 of their CDs.[Edited on July 9, 2007 at 9:54 AM. Reason : eh]

yea i randomly met that kid online back in High School believe it or not. I think i was 17 when i ran across his (confusion ends) mp3.com page. ive kept in touch with him and his stuff has gotten considerably better over the years.also another band came to mind while reading this. a band i used to listen to around that same time and into the beginning of college called The December Drive. They are still around now, and arent bad (arrivals/departures was a decent CD, you should check it out) and you can check out some of their current stuff on myspace.com/thedecemberdrive and purevolume.com/thedecemberdrive but their first CD came more to mind for this. its not as vocal free and ambient as say pelican, explosions, or confusion ends but i think you might like it nonetheless..probably more suited for your Appleseed Cast thread but hit me up some time and ill get you their old CD

set up a stream of one song off of that CD for you here Joel:http://tinyurl.com/2fod7tlet me know if its something you like and i can get you the whole cd. if not no worries, but im usually a pretty good judge of stuff you might be interested in [Edited on July 18, 2007 at 12:07 AM. Reason : ]

^they're from georgia if i'm not mistaken, so they're fairly local. they've played around here before. i got their cd 37:29 (or some such name) when i saw them 6 years ago or so and it's pretty good. they might have improved in the years since.also, to the original poster: you might want to check out mercury program. fits your criteria, except for the feedback part.[Edited on July 18, 2007 at 1:11 PM. http://www.allmusic.com is really good for finding stuff. also search the label's site/look for demos from the label at record stores. appleseed cast has been one of my favorite bands for a long time, ill brainstorm and get back to you.also ratatat is really good (kind of techno/hip hop/something) - and most all bands have myspace pages - just google them and go to their website or the myspace page for demo songs.[Edited on July 20, 2007 at 2:33 PM.
