I've never seen the website in question, but I'm betting that if they are purporting to be Exxon and the site is pretty explicit that it is Exxon's site, then Exxon prolly has a legal leg on which to stand, even for requiring that the website remove all references to its name.On the other hand, the link stated in the comment section that if Exxon (assuming they are behind it) filed suit in Canada, then the laws are vastly different and they heavily favor Exxon. iiiiiinteresting.[Edited on July 3, 2007 at 5:37 PM. I wonder if Exxon could get them in some sort of civil suit. Impersonating an Exxon executive to damage their name/reputation/etc at a trade conference...
