maybe you can use MacTheRipper and run the game from the ripped disc. Or maybe that only works for video DVDs... i dunno

yeah easy fix. Go to www.gamecopyworld.comIt's perfectly legal as long as you have a backup copy. This is what i do for all my games so i don't have to insert the cd/dvd. On a later note, i don't know if it'll work on a mac. [Edited on July 2, 2007 at 2:00 PM. Reason : .]

^^ doesn't look like they support Mac gamesone trick I tried in the past was to make a CD image file of the CD, using Disk Utility, then just mount the disk image when you want to play.

^depends on whether the game has copy protection that checks for virtual drives, though.

sims2 on PC wasn't hard at all to crack on PC.the only game I've run across that was a bitch was pop3, but that was before starforce got the shaft.

^Yeah it was pretty easy. Thankfully starforce did finally get booted.

I hate starforce with a passion, unbeknownst to me Silent Hunter III came with that lovely hellspawn.

Yanno, Silent Hunter is a remake of the original NES game Silent Service ... damn fine game, played that so much growing up ... along with all the other NES greats, but yea, that was a fav too.
