My father recently died, which has put a tremendous emotional and financial hardship on my mother. My brother and I need to move out as soon as possible so my mother can put the house up for sale. I've already signed a lease for an apartment in Raleigh; however, my lease doesn't start until August 4, so we need to find somewhere from the end of June until August 4.

Two rooms? We don't have that, but you and your bro can stay at our place. We've got one spare bedroom, and a foldout couch. Not being the owner of the house, I can't say you can stay for free, but if you can't, you can stay for damn near free.
