so i just downloaded vista and i assumed at the end there would be some option to "click here to burn vista to a bootable dvd!" but there isn't..... i downloaded the full version not the upgrade for the specific reason of doing a fresh install. i found the location of the files it downloaded along with an autorun.ini file but i doubt it'll boot if i burn it.

i don't understand why they even sell the full version in addition to the upgrade if there is no way to do a fresh install with it....

generally they include instructions for this, or have a separate ISO download.

ugg the microsoft tec guy sent me to some sketchy 3rd party website that gives a tutorial that claims to be able to make it bootable.

and he also suggested i pay the S&H to get a real copy
