Found a random Australian's guy resume on the net. He is around 40.

Don't know how one would go about planning a life like that at the age of 18.

Gets very impressive towards the bottom.

A great success and lots of fun.

Started consulting to private resort owners to provide operations, marketing and property advice and services.

Designed, developed and opened Mango Lagoon Resort & Wellness Spa a 56 apartment 4.5 star resort & spa with 150 metres of swimming pools including a 50 metre lap pool and poolside restaurant. Marketed internationally and very well supported by travel agents from the UK, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Sweden. A very successfull privatly owned and operated resort and wellness spa.

Bought 50 foot yacht and gone cruising.

Thats a very brief rap of what I have done in the past, very, very brief there are lots of really good stories that go with it and fill in the gaps if you're interested.

If he's so successful, why is he posting a resume on the internet?

maybe hes looking to find a new experience, no one said that to be successful you have to do the same thing your whole life until you decide to stop working

[Edited on June 10, 2007 at 1:05 PM. Reason : hes not too good at spellin though]

The only thing in his resume I find remarkable is that when he got bored of doing one thing, he actually went and did something else. Too many people lack the drive to actually change something they don't like and consequently they get stuck doing the same thing forever.

i'd think it'd be a deterrent to hire someone who gets bored and finds something else to do so often.

^ Well as you can see, he has been his own boss all his life.

^^^ Yea, he went and did something else, something completely different. He was just born with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

some people are born to do more. some people just get lucky (i.e. windfall of cash from parents, knowing the right people, etc...).

you create your own destiny.

Obviously, he has entrepreneurial skills that not everyone possesses. But how many people are unwilling to take the risk of changing careers? Or unwilling to take the lesser risk of taking a job with a different company in the same field?

^^^looks like good spelling for a person from Australia. His grammar seems off, but resumes are usually written in a very informal manner.

whether it is middle school or high school, no one knows, but it is not college for sure. as it is only in the US that colleges/universities can be referred to as "schools".

and as i said, it doesn't have to be middle school, could be HS. look at TWW, everybody here is either in college, or has graduated college, but you see tons of the stupidest spelling errors.

and to clarify, that was not posted by him looking for a job (why would he ask anybody for a job?!), but for a travel partner for the summer. he is sailing to Costa Rica, and wants 4-6 people on his boat. someone asked him what he had done in life so far, so he posted that in response. Lonely Planet site.

Call him up, tell him you want to go. Then he'll ask you to send a money order for $5,000 so that he can access his inheritance worth $1 million, and you'll get $50k in return, and a sailing trip. This is a great opportunity for you, and its obviously legit.

haha... no it is not that kind of thing.

and i would love to go, but because of logistical problems (visas and shit), can't.

but a friend of mine emailed him for more info. she is seriously thinking of going, but only if there are more people (females) there... she doesn't want to be alone with a male stranger. he wrote back saying he typically tales 4-6 people every summer, and he has received responses from others as well. he also sent her pics of the sailing yacht.

and no, he didn't ask for any money. he just said that food expenses would be shared by everybody when on the boat, and that's all.

I would guess the first thing on the CV should be "professional liar", but then that would lead to
unanswerable questions so there you go.
