It's been a great 3 years so far, you been with me through good times and bad.

When I first saw you on that lot in Newport News, you had been overlooked for weeks since you had 108k miles on you, but I knew you had potential, and that I could probably jew the dealer down to $8,000, even though your sticker said $13k. When the dealer let me take you home to look over, you let me go all inside of you on the first night, and you looked damn good, even though you thought you were just a rebound after my previous truck got stolen.

You've never failed me through the years as my daily driver, I've flogged you, gone 20k on oil changes, hauled three times your gvw, done burnouts at every opportunity, and neglected any and all maintenance, wash you twice a year, but you just keep going. You left a pissed off South Carolina state trooper stuck in a soybean field and kept me out of jail that day, and hauled over half the shit for Jeepman's garage. You wake up all the neighbors and set off car alarms a 6am when I go to work, and send little children running into their houses in the afternoon.

Hopefully you have another 200k left in you, and this summer you'll be getting a new bumper, skid plates and sliders, a 14 bolt rear end, a 4l80e tranny, 4.56 gears, and a winch, all the shit I've been putting off because I just haven't had the time, and you deserve it.
