if he's willing to do this, it's because no proper lending institution is willing to roll the dice on him

they can afford to take a hit better than you can, and they also have more effective ways (that won't land them in the butt hut) of collecting if he doesn't wanna ante up when the time comes

yeah, $6400. And he can't get a bank to loan him that amount? If I had a 40% rate of return on any idea I could come up woth $6400 pretty quick. $6400 ain't that much.
