DVD Burner: Sony DRU120C
Software: Came with Nero, using DVD Shrink 3.2
Problem: I can't seem to select the speed to encode. I copy one DVD and it encodes at ~12,000 KB/s and then I do another DVD immediately afterwards and it's averaging about 2,300 KB/s. I didn't change a single setting, and I know it should take a lot less than 45 minutes to encode a DVD.

Any ideas?

^^ nero makes recode, which IS dvdshrink, just bought-out, updated, and set to restrict ripping copyrighted dvds...which you can easily get around using ripit4me (for legal backup purposes, of course)
