What upcoming car are you most looking forward to?
(This is the QOTD on Jalopnik today, but I thought it might be good enough for tww garage.)

But I've also broken it into 3 categories:
1...that you think you'll be able to buy immediately when it goes and sale and actually use daily:
2...that you could own sometime within a decade or two but before your midlife crisis given likely depreciation and reasonable income increases:
3...that you are very excited about now but will inevitably ignore when it comes to market (original-nsx-target-audience-style, circa 1992)

1-BMW 135i- little bimmer with turbo 6 and easy tuning with e36 revival styling instead of scooby doo's head
2-Farboud/Farbio GT- So hot, I'd drive it even if they call it something ridiculous. When I close my eyes and think of what the perfect sports car should be, the Farbio is damn close. the m400 is merely the closest car that's made it to production.
3-Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet camaro- Sure they look good and will sound great... but they're frickin huge (check the size of any other LX/LY or the transformers pics where the girl is standing next to the car). Plus, if I absolutely had to have a car meeting those specs, I would have already bought a 300c/charger or gto but I didn't. Actually, a 6.0L gto is pretty tempting.

^see, that's what we do every day, and I think we ought to stop that. I mean... fantasizing about a 100k car almost gives license for sports car companies to continue building them instead of attempting to build machines that are attainable. I much more appreciate porsche for offering a 55k boxster than a 130k GT3RS

unfortunately for me... i have to continue doing that, as i can't afford any car (well not entirely true), and for some reasons, can't or don't have the desire to own one where i live.

so here are cars i am looking forward to (seeing on roads/in showrooms):

BMW M3
Lexus IS-F
Merc C63 AMG
Aston Martin Rapide
Audi RS5
Infiniti G37
Nissan GT-R
Porsche GT2
Acura NSX
Toyota Supra/FTX
Lexus LF-A
Mini Clubman
Porsche Panamera

I have to say EvoX on the basis that its going to finally have all the faggot electronic interior nerdshit (auto AC, MPG display, NAV) shit I wished my rice had while still looking like a cartoon car.

I will most definitely pick one up if it performs equal to or better then my car.

Jeep Patriot. If they prove to not be complete mechanical failures, and depreciate to the point where I can afford them like the Cherokees did.

24MPG 4x4 = Way awesome (to me)

It's capable enough to go out to a jobsite, gets good mileage for an SUV, and has been proven to be the best in its class (so far) in terms of capability:

i've heard more rumors from some contacts I have that Mazda will be bringing out another 2 seater rotary with a larger nonturbo 2 rotor engine. That would be cool to check out.

i don't know about "most looking forward to", but "most interested to see how it turns out, then I'll know if I'm interested or not":

-BMW 135
-new STi

(Evo X is 3500 fucking pounds...that's just ridiculous. I don't need or want to pay for most of that whizbang gadgetry.)
