How do you hold a team to only 6pts in the 4th qtr and still ONLY score 13....that has to be one of the worst stats ever.

i bet thats why detroit is such a sports city...a lot of them are prolly lower class than typical america and value their money more

when their team loses they get pissed for spending the money

No, its just cold as balls up there most of the time, and they have shit else to do. Except sell drugs and kill people. Haven't you seen 8 Mile? Detroit really is like that, and thats no joke....

I'm from Ohio (cleveland), and while it may not be the best place in the world to live, it's not that bad. You won't meet more loyal fans ANYWHERE. Half you fuckers have probably never even set foot in Ohio

I have been there, but I am in agreement with you that "half the fuckers here" havent.

LOL...you have to admit, some parts of that state stink like ass crack.

There IS a reason it's known as the armpit of America.

LOL, maybe the other armpit.

but If you look at the US map, the new england states extend to the north east (the arm), and right at the bottom of that "arm" is Ohio (the arm pit).

I would say that the majority of the state of Ohio sucks, with the exception of Cleveland and OSU

Cleveland used to suck, but it has cleaned up a LOT since the infamous "Lake Erie on fire" incident

it is true that cleveland has cleaned up it's act, but there's nobody there to enjoy because there aren't any jobs. the 90's was the booming time in cleveland.

still, go cavs, tribe and browns. Every one of those teams is on the up and up. The rumor is that Cowher is going to coach the browns in 08

pack has a good coach, cleveland doesn't.

plus, cowher used to coach with the browns back in the 80's and played there as well. Oh, and they'll pay him whatever he wants.

true, I'll give you that. And I'm not saying I have inside info or anything, but that's the word around pittsburgh and cleveland right now. The Browns had their chance with him after marty in the 80's and they blew it. Hired fucking Bud Carson instead of promoting Cowher. I bet they make a push to get him, no matter what the cost.

^I've heard that Cowher is the likely candidate for the job unless Romeo has a stellar year this year

but if Cowher is on the table, I think that Romeo would have to lead the Browns to the super bowl to keep his job

If Cower went to the Browns, the universe would collapse upon itself.

I knew he was in Cleveland in the 80's but he was pretty much the face of our biggest rival for 15 years. It would be too akward to see him in orange and brown.

It's going to be weird enough for me to pull for Jamal Lewis this fall.

^agreed, that was the first thing I said about Cowher when my friend told me that Cowher would be coaching the Browns in '08. I thought that there was no way that a coach could flip flop teams in one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL, especially when he was the face of the franchise for so many years. So, I bet my friend $20 that it would never happen, now its looking like a distinct possibility

I would say that it would be equated to Joe Torre going to manage the Red Sox

I went to Cleveland two summers ago expecting pure shit ... but it's honestly beautiful in areas. The waterfront where Browns stadium and the R'n'R Hall of Fame are located is amazing. And Cedar Point has the best roller coasters in the known world.

yeah but the 76ers won the first game of that series

by far, the worst finals ive ever seen next to Spurs vs Nets and Spurs vs Knicks

I think an Bobcats vs. Twolves final would have been more interesting

that was the worst finals series I've seen in any sport....not just b/c they got swept, but the play (especially on the part of the cavs) was horrendous....it's like the NBA told the spurs to drum it down to make it semi-interesting.....it didn't work

Horrible NBA finals. I hate watching the Spurs play and the refs wouldn't call shit on the Spurs when LeBron went to the hole. Just when I was getting excited about actually watching the NBA again, this series had to occur and make me wonder why the fuck am I watching the NBA.
