http://www.lingenfelter.com/LingenfelterC6ZO6427CIDTwinTurboCorvette.htmlooks like 800hp
5/10/2007 3:00:17 PM
i was going to guess 700-800 with stock being 500. i bet they've got that particular car turned up a little more though.[Edited on May 10, 2007 at 3:14 PM. Reason : aggressive tuning]

mod for mod, they respond better than anything else out there. typically pretty under rated from the factory also.
5/10/2007 4:08:19 PM
true... i bet the 07 cobras will be there toothat mod motor would be friggin sick if it had more displacement.

When the video starts it shows the Lingenfelter badge that says "505 horsepower"

^lol, do those even put out a psi?
5/11/2007 11:46:56 AM
^^^^what's your point? that's the factory z06 badge with a ligenfelter one above it.
5/11/2007 11:51:36 AM
probably not...and to be honest i bet a decent motor could still draw vacuum on them.(between the throttle body and fan not in the intake manifold thats a duh-huh) [Edited on May 11, 2007 at 11:54 AM. Reason : .]

^^I remember thinking when I first saw those that they might pay for themselves with gas savings by reducing effort on intake, but I have no idea what kind of draw they have on the battery... they probably burn away whatever energy is saved internally straight out of the alternator and electrics... If I had a total pos, it might be right up there with a plywood wing for a joke mod.

not 226mph ... but hp/$ of modsthe 03 cobras were limited cause the front wheels were very light at 178i'm sure the 07s are worse.[Edited on May 11, 2007 at 1:43 PM. Reason : .]

lingenfelter needs to hire new public relations & marketing staff, because they suck. the video just shows like 10 redundant passes and one in-car pass. how about a walk-around, underhood shots, engine starting, engine revving, etc.? and they provide two shitty photos on the webpage that really doesn't show anything. finally, the writeup is pretty vague.

I've found many car shops and vendors are pretty useless at things like sales consultations, customer service, and marketing. they can turn a wrench and that's about it... For example, I called Greddy at one of their regional headquarters (New Jersey?) and got bounced around a couple times to a few different people (like any other company) and then the rep I talked to had woefully inadequate information about a particular turbo kit and other products they offer.

considering a 1000hp viper only pulled 225 this is pretty impressive http://www.motortrend.com/av/features/112_0704_maxton_mile_record_run/
