Does anyone know anything about the quality of Suzuki's road bikes? I've been in the market for a bike and can't decide which route to go. I'm partial to Harley's bc my dad has one, and my ideal bike is a Fat Boy, however, they're a little pricey. I was considering a Sportster, but I think it's just a little too small for my taste. I saw a Suzuki Boulevard yesterday in a parking lot and it looked like a really nice bike. I've just never heard anything about the quality.I can afford a Fat Boy, especially if it's going to retain it's value like I know it will, but would rather spend a third of the price if I can get a good quality, and nice looking bike in an S50. Does anyone have any thoughts, experience, or expertise in this matter? Thanks in advance.

Actually, I just realized, I think it was the S83 that I saw. So, any info on the S83 [or Suzuki's in general?]

you will get BETTER quality that you would witha harley. Suzuki will depreciate a lot quicker though.

That's what they call a paradox.

i was just lookin at them at the dealership today (kawasaki/suzuki of durham). if i were interested in a cruiser....(im not) but if it was I would give them a ser. look i like em! and wont break the bank.also i would suggest going to kawsaki/suzuki of durham. the service guy was SO NICE to me. most motorcycle mechanics are asshats. they had me in and out in 45 minutes. said my chain was too tight... i asked him if he could adjust he did and then greased it for free. I mean to me that is a big deal. the bike was off the stand and he put it back up just to do that for me. No i didnt just go in for a chain tightening >_< wahahahe also chit chatted with me about tl's etc. for a while and he knew his shit. I got his card and im doing all my major work with him for now on.the sales guys are also awesome. I just love that place [Edited on May 10, 2007 at 10:50 AM. i've got an 05 M50 and it has been absolutely trouble free... i would highly recommend the boulevard line to anyone in the market for such a bike. Better ride than a sportster, trouble free, and suprising power for an 800 cruiser
