I am selling a Haier Kegerator that is in perfect condition. There have only been 6 kegs run through it and it still has charge on the original fill of the CO2 tank. I am redoing the kitchen and the future wife said it was time to growup. Anyways, I will be in town all week/weekend if anyone wants to come look at it (I'm in Cary). This one sells for $599 new since it is the stainless steel door. I have been getting more into better and non-standard beers lately and they cost $$$ to get in a keg if you can even find them. So, I didn't really put up a fight. Compromise is key to marriage.....at least I think that what they say.

^do you not know how much a keg of beer costs?the beer will stay good for as long as the beer and CO2 lasts
5/9/2007 10:00:51 AM
Obviously I don't or else I would not have posted the question.
5/9/2007 10:01:48 AM
It will last a long time if you have everything hooked up correctly, its the same way beer is kept at a bar.
5/9/2007 10:18:42 AM
beer refrigerated between 35-39 degrees F will stay "fresh" for around three weeks. I have sipped off my homebrew in my kegerator for far longer than that and the beer definitly aged but not really for the worse. Id say youd want to finish it within a month. A big keg of yuengling or budweiser at total wine will cost you between 80-100 dollars.

How much does the co2 run and how much maintenance is required?

I couldn't find any tanks for sale on that site.

depending on the size of the tank to fill it i think the tank i have was only like 10 bucks and they just switched it out with another tank they had there.

^^i dont think I've met a girl that wouldn't like a bar in their abode. of course, you kind of need a big house to justify having a bar, because I don't mean one of those transportable jobs, I mean one that was built into teh house. fuckin sweet

my brother has a kick ass bar built into their house. his wife is cool about it and it is cool when the have others over socially. he does not have a kegerator but his has all the liquor you would want and one of those wine refrigerators.
