New or used? I've never liked the Avalanche. The new Tundras, however, are hideous. The old ones weren't bad-looking at all.

Can't give you any info on reliability/usability/whatnot. Just looks and that I've always seen the Avalanche as kind of a halfass compromise between a K5 and a crew-cab pickup. I suppose the idea has merit (they sure have sold a lot of them) but the styling is a little too "Hay guys I"m eXtreme" for me.

both of them are ugly as fuck but the tundra is a better rig and I think it looks a bit better then the ava. But that is me and im not trying to buy one. Ford FTW

On those 2 choices, I'd go for the Tundra with little consideration for the other.

But me personally, I'll be getting another '02 PSD Excursion (last year they had 7.3L's) once I get the boating career rolling. Goddamn I miss that truck. By far the best rig I've ever owned. And there's a metric shitload of performance upgrades available to blow the doors off most of the local ricers and still get 24 miles per gallon in an 8000 pound truck.
