wasn't some kind of brand spankin new version of the SW dvd's just released, w/ different features? or maybe more like the original? cause i know they changed some stuff (e.g. the ghosts at the end of rotj).
if this is the version that's new but not latest new, then a $5 bill, a 20 oz. sprite and a chocolate chip cookie..meet you on campus anytime this week.

^^^^^ The new ones that were just released contained the original unedited versions, before the added scenes of 1997 and the new ones as well. Both digitally remastered.

Actually, the newer release was the same updated effects as previously released, but contained the theatrical versions as "bonus material"...also non-anamorphic too, which made the whole release completely worthless.

the original widescreen are widescreen even though they didn't say so on the back...i was worried about that..though i do wish it was 5.1 on the originals
