for a 4th round pickwow, how the mighty have fallen
4/29/2007 10:50:43 AM
what the fucki just saw that. how the fuck do they do that. they just got moss for a 4th rounder. at least they play on real grass too, otherwise that'd have been a ridiculously good pickup.
4/29/2007 10:52:53 AM
Wow, what an insane pickup for the Pats.
4/29/2007 10:53:35 AM
the rich just got richer.
4/29/2007 10:57:12 AM
i think this might be smarter for the raiders.new england might go into self-destruct mode.
4/29/2007 11:00:53 AM
prepare to see moss talking about being a team player and just wanting to help his team win later today when they interview him.never thought i'd see that lol
4/29/2007 11:01:16 AM
hell of a pick up thats for sure
4/29/2007 11:15:41 AM
If he is half of what he used to be that would still be a steal for a 4th rounder
4/29/2007 11:16:42 AM
I can't believe the Packers couldn't get this deal done, they NEEDED a WR, New England is just bolstering their roster. That means they now have 2 deep threats in Stallworth and Moss...I might have to move Brady up my fantasy boards come time for my draft, haha.
4/29/2007 12:18:06 PM
Super Bowl Champs
4/29/2007 12:29:44 PM
he ran a 4.3 40 a month ago... moss is still in great shape. and i think he will fit in fine in new england
4/29/2007 12:32:55 PM
agreed, good pickup by new england...a steal for a 4th rounder
4/29/2007 12:39:43 PM
there comes a point in life when things are over not even the refs can beat us now
4/29/2007 12:43:59 PM
I guess Belichick decided he never wants to get beat by the Jets again. I know he fucking hates them. Ridiculously stacked team.
4/29/2007 12:55:21 PM
Still not as stacked as the colts or chargers.Premature on superbowl talk.
4/29/2007 1:05:26 PM
if he wasn't going to be on board with lane kiffin, i'm glad he's gone. but of all the teams to send him to, why send him to the one that espn already verbally fellates and not green bay??
4/29/2007 1:12:57 PM
^^ the colts just lost their 2 starting cb's, thats gonna hurtthe patriots, who were already stacked with super bowl experience, just added a whole hell of a lot more talenti'd say they're more stacked than the chargers
4/29/2007 1:33:40 PM
I think this is going to work out wonderfully for moss and the patriots
4/29/2007 1:42:36 PM
yes, I agree.I would actually consider drafting him in next years fantasy draft.
4/29/2007 1:45:38 PM
fuck
4/29/2007 2:40:47 PM
WHAT A DISGUSTING TRADE
4/29/2007 3:26:01 PM
I think this will work out a lot like TO in Philly. They'll have some initial success before the relationship sours and Moss poisons the locker room.
4/29/2007 3:32:41 PM
This could be a potentially awesome pick-up for the Pats.Hopefully if Moss can still think straight (not likely) he would realize that he can't complain about a QB/Team that has won 3 superbowls recently.I would love a picture of Tom Brady dangling his jewelry in front of Moss, it would make my year
4/29/2007 3:43:25 PM
this is basically the Raiders saying we just want Moss the F out of here
4/29/2007 4:47:18 PM
^ haha, basically.
4/29/2007 4:52:18 PM
and Tom and Bill saying "come catch some TDs and help us win a superbowl"Brady didnt have hardly any receivers last year...and they just loaded up in FA.they have done some big stuff this offseasongotta be them or SD for the superbowl early predictions
4/29/2007 4:56:24 PM
Yup, Patriots will win it all next year. San Diego will never win it with Norv Turner coaching. NEVER.
4/29/2007 5:22:04 PM
Well, this looks good for New England. Denny Green, your thoughts:
4/29/2007 6:31:05 PM
^ 0/10.
4/29/2007 6:35:37 PM
i hope he breaks his leg.
4/30/2007 8:26:25 AM
Well........it looks like the dynasty is coming back......and the bandwagon fans.....
4/30/2007 8:51:03 AM
As a Patriots fan, I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I was much more excited when we signed Stallworth to be honest. Moss, while he is still a great talent, has his issues and his baggage that he he seems to bring with him where ever he goes. Then again, people said Corey Dillon was a trouble maker when he came to New England a few years ago and he stepped right in line and became a model citizen. Maybe the same will happen here.If it works out well, the Pats have the firepower to run with anyone. If it doesn't work out well, they were still a second half implosion from being in their 4th Super Bowl in 6 years last season when they had no real threats at WR.
4/30/2007 9:50:07 AM
^No threats at WR?Reche Caldwell is surprised to hear you say that.
4/30/2007 9:56:09 AM
there is nothing else i can add to this thread my reaction was TF?
4/30/2007 10:03:47 AM
pats will win the next 7 super bowlsyou heard it here first
4/30/2007 10:23:50 AM
Broncos over Pats in the AFC championship.. Randy Moss moons Tom Brady and quits
4/30/2007 12:25:01 PM
loln00b,
4/30/2007 12:28:57 PM
jesus, I forgot about them getting Stallworth and Washington... they are fucking loaded at WR now
4/30/2007 2:12:03 PM
and wes welker
4/30/2007 2:24:59 PM
hes a good return guy but with everyone else he might not see the light of day as a WR
4/30/2007 2:35:02 PM
and Christopher Walken
4/30/2007 2:41:34 PM
you would think the nfl would step in and say hey, this isnt a fair trade
4/30/2007 3:05:07 PM
they could have gotten way more than just a 4th round pickway to go raiders, you really fucked up this one
4/30/2007 3:23:36 PM
Moss is worth atleast a 3rd rounder. He was just so pissed off in Oakland. He is going to return to his former badass self and teams are gonna be pissed they didn't offer more for him.
4/30/2007 3:25:28 PM
NE is pretty much the only place Moss can go and succeed again, imo
4/30/2007 3:34:40 PM
naaah SD woulda loved to take him, he just wants to settle down and be a role player and on a Superbowl team.you gotta admit though he handled this trade with style, didnt get all in the media via TOhe did do it classy and lately he has really seemed to calm down...maybe he really will be something at NE...I know im draftin him thats for sure next year.
4/30/2007 3:58:02 PM
4/30/2007 6:50:01 PM
^I believe the former post was referring to Wes Welker or whoever the guy was from the Dolphins they picked up.
4/30/2007 7:05:31 PM
pretty sure he was talking about wes welker
4/30/2007 7:05:51 PM
guess they're not too happy with Chad Jackson's progress being that he was their 1st round pick last year
4/30/2007 8:25:42 PM
