http://kucinich.house.gov/SpotlightIssues/documents.htmApparently this can get through the house easily, but it will stall in the Senate, per norm.
4/26/2007 11:01:32 AM
Ahahaha I love him.
4/26/2007 11:06:21 AM
I just hope this doesn't lead to every administration getting impeached. But I do think that this administration deserves to be impeached.
4/26/2007 11:07:40 AM
Nah. Don't bother impeaching Bush. You'd just put Dick Cheney into office.Impeach Cheney, THEN you can go after Bush and bring about President Pelosi.
4/26/2007 11:34:55 AM
what are you hippies babbling about now
4/26/2007 11:36:15 AM
They are impeaching Cheney, not Bush.
4/26/2007 11:37:45 AM
My old roommate was a die hard republican. Before the 04 elections I signed him up on the mailing list of every single democratic presidential candidate as a joke.Every one of them just sent him an email or maybe a letter thanking him for his support, except for Kucinich. We got half a dozen lawn signs, bumper stickers, and campaign buttons, as well as instructions on how to have a Kucinich support party. I felt bad for the guy because he was trying so hard and no one cared.
4/26/2007 12:07:47 PM
His poll numbers will skyrocket to .05%. He is a character.
4/26/2007 12:26:08 PM
Kucinich is the man.
4/26/2007 1:09:03 PM
Kucinich is a nut. I have no idea how he could be elected to anything above, say, a school board, much less the U.S. Congress. I don't think that he's a bad human being like half of his colleagues, but he is ridiculous and somewhere to the left of Yoko Ono politically.
4/26/2007 1:11:51 PM
Oh great, another waste of my money.
4/26/2007 1:31:27 PM
Yea, he's trying to impeach them for wasting a trillion dollars on a war based on a lie.hmmm!
4/26/2007 1:46:14 PM
^you hang out with salisbury boy a lot or something?
4/26/2007 1:49:11 PM
i love how a war based on 18 broken United Nations sanctions always becomes simplified as a war based on "a lie" or "lies"
4/26/2007 1:51:40 PM
Nah, it's all good. You guys are the tinfoil folks now. Most people believe the war was a mistake and want us out. It's just the conservatives that think terrorists will swim across the ocean to kill us for our 'freedom.'I, for one, will be betting on them like a horse race to see who can swim the fastest and declare a jihad.
4/26/2007 2:00:53 PM
yep...terrorism is done and over with...as soon as bush gets out of office and a democrat gets elected, all the terrorists will go back to their jobs as vegetable salesmen and become pacifists
4/26/2007 2:03:23 PM
really? that's good to hear. i guess that means we can bring our troops back home to meet their families for the first time in years. and after that, maybe we can fix their health care. maybe after we're done fixing america domestically, we can work on making people think we're not on par with north korea!
4/26/2007 2:06:52 PM
4/26/2007 2:09:02 PM
That article states that the number of dead is actually decreasing, but the number of attacks has increased. They're just becoming less efficient essentially.
4/26/2007 3:27:08 PM
what to do when you don't have a real agenda....IMPEACH BUSH!!!
4/26/2007 3:36:42 PM
you mean clinton? woops
4/26/2007 3:37:11 PM
^same thing
4/26/2007 3:38:30 PM
i would vote for kucinich easily. i hope he does well at the democratic debates tonite.
4/26/2007 4:18:42 PM
4/26/2007 4:20:31 PM
4/26/2007 4:21:51 PM
way too radical to stand a chancesame platform as when he ran the last time, same snowballs chance in hell of getting the nomination, IMO
4/26/2007 4:25:14 PM
^exactly what i was thinking.....some good stuff in there, but not what most americans are going for
4/26/2007 4:26:42 PM
^^ I agree completely, but ^ it's completely wrong to say he doesn't have a real agenda. He does.
4/26/2007 4:30:27 PM
Aside from the death penalty and gun control whats radical in there?
4/26/2007 4:30:36 PM
if he changed his last name to clinton, he could probably be up there.
4/26/2007 4:30:59 PM
4/26/2007 4:41:00 PM
4/26/2007 4:45:12 PM
^^well, most people are opposed to the war in iraq but don't want to leave them hanging, so that point is fairly moderate.Since when is world cooperation radical? We founded the UN for gods sakes, lol.Death penalty, yes, radical in the US.Kyoto protocol, no, not radical, most people want to see things done in this area. ABM treaty, honestly not sure how the public stands on this issue, other than not wanting to die.The religious right may think this is radical but most americans would probably agree that allowing abortions to stay legal but trying to decrease the number of abortions performed is a good plan.War on drugs. Most people I've talked to on both sides want to see this area reformed. Not many want legalization of everything, but they know the system we have now is not working.
4/26/2007 4:48:43 PM
I just think with a position as high up and as important as the Presidency of the US, any bigtime changes will take lots of time...people like Bush and Clinton appealed to their respective parties, but they also seemed to have more of a moderate platform, at least in the campaigning stages...I mean he might be a great President, I just dont think realistically his ideas are moderate enough to win the nomination, let alone get elected
4/26/2007 4:53:14 PM
I agree that he won't get elected, I just think he has some neat and refreshing ideas.
4/26/2007 4:54:42 PM
hell, i do too...it just seems the norm of toting the moderate party line will prevail until some of his ideas arent considered that radical anymore
4/26/2007 4:58:35 PM
He left out free ice cream on fridays in his agenda. My word, I guess he runs under the promise the impossible, and see who bites.
4/26/2007 4:58:41 PM
I've gotta say, I'm a fan. He will never be president, nor do I think he should be--despite the fact that I agree with him on more things than most candidates--but he brings issues to the table which I think need to be addressed.
4/26/2007 4:59:55 PM
4/26/2007 5:08:24 PM
4/26/2007 6:31:27 PM
I'm more attracted by Kucinich's foreign policy than his domestic policy. Though he has some good ideas there too.
4/26/2007 6:34:51 PM
fuck free college. damn
4/26/2007 6:40:15 PM
4/26/2007 6:41:44 PM
they're all easily obtainablebut mostly ridiculous and stupid
4/26/2007 10:10:43 PM

4/26/2007 10:13:58 PM
how are they stupid when many countries have adopted similar measures and had success with it?[Edited on April 26, 2007 at 10:24 PM. Reason : ]
4/26/2007 10:24:29 PM
It would support the real government this guy works for, the media, what a player.
4/26/2007 10:40:32 PM
eh, considering he doesn't get much coverage i'd hardly say he 'works for the media'
4/26/2007 11:04:43 PM
hundred days is up for them, about time they did somethinglawl
4/26/2007 11:35:40 PM
"President Pelosi"? Are you batshit shitting me, RedGuard? Kucinich did do well with his wife--she's a little tall for him, though.
