my progress for my application says on hold..anyone know why that would be...i submitted all my forms and such, not really sure when they're gonna let me know how much $$$ i can have next fall...

it could be any number of things. i had a hold on my account one time for not doing exit counseling for my student loans, even though i wasn't graduating

You can email your financial aid advisor (that info is on the website) and they'll let you know what's up. It's better than calling because it seems like they actually check their mail.

Talk to someone face to face for any results. I had my financial aid award withheld without notification a day before the deadline because they said I didnt take enough hours. Had to go through a bank loan to hold me off until the financial aid was sent out. Turns out they forgot to add in my summer hrs to my total credit hours, damn woman said sorry, mistakes happen.

wlfpackhottie... if you PM me, I can find out what the problem is with your application. There are many reasons why it could be on hold. Also, if you are a continuing student (aka, a student that is here now), we will not be awarding you until mid-June. We have to review all spring grades first.

I do apologize for the lack of an answer on the phone calls. We have only three counselors in the office because most of our folks were at the NC conference for Financial Aid Counselors. We have been very short staffed.
