the cheapest thing i found about 10 months ago was a dell inspiron b130. free 1g RAM upgrade. i think the grand total was right at $540 after shipping, etc. it does everything i need it to do. internet/movies/music/tv/quickbooks. i think it's a 1.8 celeron, but i can't remember for sure.
4/24/2007 1:37:18 PM
and i need a million dollars and a bionic eye, but its not going ot happen.

Why would you buy the acer when that dell is significantly better for the same price.

The picutres arnet cute or funny, they are dumb why do idiots keep having to post them geez.
4/25/2007 10:15:26 AM
ironically just like playing a poor imitation of napoleon dynamite in your everyday actions and speech.....
4/25/2007 12:46:39 PM
I dont see how the dell was significantly better...
4/25/2007 1:06:59 PM
Shit turon vs intel procshit integrated graphics vs descrete.
4/25/2007 4:32:32 PM
I'd save my money and put it towards something that didn't suck
4/25/2007 8:01:04 PM
^also a valid philosophy

retards, I dont need performance, I need cheap and functional. Its not going to be my main computer. Its not like I need something to run super-graphic games on or anything. I want to put some of my tax refund into my retirement account, not blow it all on a super-laptop that Id only use 10% of what it was capable of.
4/25/2007 10:45:29 PM
wait wait.so you can pay 600 for a cheap aceror you can pay 600 for a dell with better performance.and the acer is the better choice here?
4/26/2007 9:47:45 AM
just make sure you get the 1gb ram upgrade... i run around 12-20 Fps on my laptop and it runs smooth. i've no complaints
