I was talken to a friend who brings all his shit to a laundry service and its $1.10 per pound of clothes, granted he lives up north so its not really a help to me. Anyway I have looked online and all i can find is Laundromats but i would gladly pay somone much more then $1.10 to wash and fold my shit. Anyone know of one here in raleigh (that isn't something obscene like $5 lbs)???

the laundry situation is getting crucial

not the dorms, but that company advertised heavily at the dorms. I think it was simply called Wolf Laundry.

Ditto.
I hang EVERYTHING that's not pajamas or houseclothes. Those, I either just cram in a drawer, or leave in a hamper. I only wear that stuff around the house, cleaning, or errands, so it doesn't matter if it's messy or wrinkled or if the dog uses it as a pillow.

I hang Tshirts, skirts...if I wear it and can hang it, I do. It can sometimes mean using special hangers, but that's not a big deal.

I know that there is a service like this somewhere in raleigh (likely in the downtown or NCSU area) because a friend of mine used it when he was moving. He had accumulated a ridiculous amount of dirty laundry when he moved, so he just put it all in trash bags and dropped it off.

^^Good call

http://www.wolflaundry.com/

But it looks to be a weekly or bi weekly service, so you might not be able to do it if you only need it once. I wonder if that 'FREE BAG' is the limit for how much clothes you can give them cause it doesnt really say anything about how much they do.

I want to give someone 4 trashbags of laundry once a month.

you are washing things too soon. care for the environment, and more importantly, save yourself the trouble.

Shit, I've probably got 85 lbs. of t-shirts. I can pretty much get away with doing laundry 1 time every month-6 weeks. My limiting factor has become black socks. I'm gonna have to get some more of those.

Call the number on the site. I use Wolf Laundry, and the guy is really flexible. My clothes come back wrapped and folded and they only take two days for turn around. His name is Howard, and I know he does residential stuff as well as students, so he would probably be willing to work with you. It's pretty cheap to for what you get...

Do it yourself, if you live in a dorm still then start sucking some guys dick who lives off campus so that he will let you wash clothes at his place.

or are you just to fucking lazy to wash your own clothes?

yah i dont mind the washing or putting away its the folding that i dread. Alot of the time ill wash clothes and then not fold them and thats just counterproductive

^^^ yes, i am fucking lazy btw. For me, its worth the money and time to have somone else do it

i'm pretty sure i make a lot more money and have a lot less time than almost any college student, and i can't imagine paying someone $50 or $100 per month to do my laundry.

Hell, I'd probably do someone else's laundry for them for that rate.

[Edited on April 23, 2007 at 11:25 AM. Reason : and I, too, HATE folding and putting away clothes. they usually sit in a pile for a couple of days]

^^^^ haha, yeah, i'd surely offer my laundry room in exchange for sexual favors of the oral variety. i'd help fold, too.

Well you think doing laundry yourself is bad...I have to do it myself and go to the laundromat, which is always an adventure. People in there have some stank ass clothes and they are not always the cleanest people in general. There is always this crazy woman that talks really loud to herself and others and she always conducts an imaginary orchestra. One time I went in there and witness people beating each other up. I thought I was gonna get shot.

4 trashbags does seem like a lot and 85 lbs of clothes. Jees a flip, you people.
I don't know if my husband's and my clothes combined come up with that much.

i had my suitemates pay me to do their laundry freshman year.. i don't remember what i charged. i offered a few friends recently to do it for $5 a load, including folding. i might be willing to do it given it wasn't an obscene amount at one time.
