FYI, T-mobile is available in NC. There are no stores in NC. You will not be able to get a 919 area code (252 is the closest they could give me). You can't switch your old cell # over unless you want a 252 or something else they have. You will be roaming.I found it to be the best prepaid deal. I am willing to put up with the negatives because I only use about 100minutes a month and I wanted prepaid.Coverage is good everywhere i've been in the triangle. t-mobile cell phone service isn't in nc.you're referring to pre-paid, which is a bit different.

I usually pay around $80 a year for my cell phone service. Of course I don't talk very much, and when I do it's for short periods of time...
