I recently built a new machine and I was planning to give my old pc to my sister and nephew. It's an old hp pavilion with nothing special in it. athlon 1.4 i believe. I'm not looking for anything great (it will be used to browse the internet and play flash games on sites like Candystand.) A lot of this stuff is cheap and easy to come by anyway, but the less money spent the better.

Soundcard (PCI, 2 channel is fine) - i may have one laying around though
dvd-rom or dvd-rom/cd-rw combo (i have a cd-rw for it but i'll take whatever as long as it's dvd-rom)
monitor (crt is fine or if anyone has an extra lcd 17" or bigger I may buy that and give her my crt)
keyboard/mouse
speakers
maybe a video card (pci or agp), although I have an agp which is probably fine.

let me know if you have anything laying around
