4/9/2007 6:27:42 PM
^nope...but alot of troops are going to die if they dont get some funds...is that urgent??
4/9/2007 6:45:58 PM
Not for democrats.
4/9/2007 6:47:30 PM
a lot of troops will die if we keep them in the middle of a civil war
4/9/2007 7:52:14 PM
THE FUNDING IS GOING TO RUN OUT Whatever... there are how many months until funding "runs out"?And btw, who wrote this? Google's not showing anything.

you'd almost think the president wasn't negotiating with the congress for a compromise or something.
4/9/2007 10:05:36 PM
You could mention the cost of war upfront, instead of pretending like it doesn't exist to make it easier to sell again and again. Then later funding it through "emergency funding" as if it was a surprise that war was expensive still this many years in. Then turn down any funding that not requires, but just non bindingly suggests an eventual end to the war being set.Its not the democrats not funding our troops. Its not even the republicans not funding our troops. Its this white house setting conditions such that our troops wont be funded unless it pushes their agenda and that makes everyone look bad, themselves & congress included.
4/9/2007 10:20:22 PM
4/9/2007 10:37:26 PM
if you treat the war as non emergency funding then you cant say you are lowering the deficit

I'll bet that I look better than you, Boone. When was the last time you were laid? Be honest. And about Pelosi, I just post that picture because I think it's funny--it actually looks like it has been manipulated. I mean, Pelosi doesn't look half bad for her age--if she didn't have the weird facial ticks.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaay lets pass on something thats full of bullshit and blame the president for not signing it instead of pushing something through thats to the pointfucking politics

yaaaaaaaaaaaaay lets pass on submit something thats full of bullshit and blame the president Congress for not signing submitting it instead of pushing something through thats to the point
4/10/2007 12:10:21 AM
by bullshit do you mean a date for leaving?
4/10/2007 8:21:44 AM
he probably means the countless millions and millions of dollars given to stupid stupid projects that was used to bribe senators into voting for it......and maybe a date for leaving..
4/10/2007 8:24:06 AM
maybe the president should learn something from the past 6 years and work for a compromise with someone he disagrees with.
4/10/2007 8:25:37 AM
maybe....maybe congress should cut the crap and fund the troops??
4/10/2007 8:30:57 AM
Congress has already passed a troop funding bill. All the President has to do is sign it. Why isn't he supporting the troops?
4/10/2007 8:38:37 AM
4/10/2007 8:40:37 AM
The congress should be a voice for the people. The American people overwhelmingly want our troops out of Iraq. They also want a deadline for pulling out reasonably. The president is representing neither of these wishes and the congress is at least attempting to do this.Democrats are far from perfect, and I think the pork they put in the bill is retarded beyond all counts, but I realize that some assholes won't vote for things despite it's what the country wants unless they're handed some cash.

seems like none of this would be a problem if Bush did what a majority of the american public wants
4/10/2007 10:30:34 AM
^seems to me like the majority of america had their say during the last presidential election, since thats how our country works
4/10/2007 10:32:38 AM
oh my bad i didnt know the house left session last time the president was voted in
4/10/2007 10:35:36 AM
what does the house leaving session have to do with "what a majority of the american public wants" the President to do?]
4/10/2007 10:37:13 AM
idk, i guess i'm stumpedwhy does bush not support our troops with threats of vetos?
4/10/2007 10:44:57 AM
4/10/2007 10:57:18 AM
i would have used that argument but i didnt think treetwista would have believed me or something
4/10/2007 11:19:11 AM
thats still how the country workscan you imagine how much more inefficient the govt would be if each member of the public was consulted about every decision thats up to the president and congress?i would say roughly 500,000x to 600,000x more inefficientthats why the public gets to vote on who will be President for the next 4 years so that hopefully someone with your own particular ideals and beliefs will be elected, hopefully so that that President will have similar ideas to yourselfSo people won't bitch about every little thing...because they already had their vote...since thats how our country works]
4/10/2007 11:19:29 AM
4/10/2007 11:35:42 AM
maybe if bush had put this in the ACTUAL budget and not some emergency fund that they knew ahead of time they would need.
