I am currently studying abroad in France, and am considering taking a trip to Lisbon, Portugal towards the end of May before I head home. Has anyone ever visited Lisbon, or Portugal in general, that could tell me if they thought it was worth the ~200 euro plane ticket...or just how you liked it in general?

I live in sweden and one of my american buddies here is going to portugal at the end of next week after our trip to brussels. I can let you know what he thinks of it when he gets back.

I went to Lisbon in October 2006. It was beautiful. I love travel, so I think going anywhere new is worth any reasonable amount of money.
